Some stuff that God is teaching me that I wanted to share. The first two are questions I asked Pastor Gaylord abt.

1. How do you learn to love people more?

The answer starts w/ John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave...

Loving is giving. It is not be selfish for self-centered.

Choose 1 person, and choose to love them by giving.

Also, consider what Christ has done and his sacrifice for us and the depth of our sin. Come to a better understanding of who God is. Come to an accounting of our own sin.

2. What are some important aspects of being a spiritual leader?

Growth...

You cannot provide direction for your wife and children, if you are not growing spiritually.

Choose one are that you feel God is leading you to grow spiritually in and concentrate on that area.

Never put your children b4 your spouse. If both parents are ministering to each other and supporting each other first, they are more effective as parents.


3. Being humble b4 God, recognizing that everything we have, we have received from him. (1 Co 4:7)

To be child-like, having a trust and dependency on God
To be child-like, but not childish

4. Areas of growth
To grow in love - genunine concern, actively giving
To grow in prayer - pray for each person on team at work, to pray spirit-led
Being intentional - actively loving in relationships and evangelism
